What we did:
- Updated Drive Station software and Eclipse IDE
- Started updating electronics firmware
- Sketched out robot chassis and drivetrain
- Ordered parts for chassis and drivetrain (should be here on Thursday or Friday)
- Added reflective tape to practice gear lift
- Brainstormed mechanisms to handle gears, pick fuel up, and launch/dump fuel into the boiler
Here’s what needs to be done on Wednesday, 1/11
- Finish updating electronics firmware (programming and electronics)
- Put electronics board and camera onto orange chassis (electronics)
- Start writing drive code (programming)
- CAD model of robot chassis (chassis)
- Prototype gear and fuel mechanisms (manipulators)
- Add reflective tape to boiler (field build)
